Stupid Clamps

Yeah, I know....another clamp thread. Just needed to vent. I lost a seal on one of the IC hoses and went to do some "routine clamp maintainence" tightening everything down. Well, I go to tighten the one on TB and am tightening away when a hear crack. The factory clamp snapped in half. Lovely....

It would have to be on the one that is hardest to get to!

Spent all day looking for the T-bolt ones locally...nothing. So, just ordered a bunch of them fom Verocious.

Has anyone noticed the amount of crap that Napa, Advance, AutoZone, etc carry now? Jeeze there's some real junk in there. No clamps, but if you need a furry steering wheel cover and plastic spinners.....

Sorry to hear about it... but. I totally know what you mean about the crap the so called auto supply stores have... I started going to JC Whitney for car stuff... there is a warehouse within half hour of me and they seem to have EVERYTHING... or if they dont have it .. they can get it. SkyBaby

With NAPA, did you ask the counter men, or did you just look on the shelves? NAPA's stock T-bolt clamps, but they are behind the counter with the other non-retail parts. Many of the counter men don't even know they have them. It's in the belkin book, and I posted all the part numbers for them in the SIDI tuning thread, just do a search for NAPA and T-bolt.

Ah crap....No, I was P/o'd when I went this morning and didn't think to look for part numbers. I did ask the parts guy and he knew what i was talking about but said he didn't have them. Ah well, I'll be out of town for the next 4 days anyway, so I can wait for the ones I ordered to get here.

How many of what sizes are needed?
