Super AFC Neo

Anyone know if the Super AFC Neo would work on our cars. BSR has not updated the tune with simple mods like the CAI, IC pipes, IC, and 3" exhaust. I have written them and never heard any word back.

I am thinking of removing the tune and adding the Super AFC to control the fuel and boost.

I can feel the lack of power now from the mods and the air/fuel is all out of wack.

Wouldnt work, you need hptuners software to edit the afr. But i dont know if bsr locked the tune or not, still the software is a bit limited now but it can change the afr.
How do you know the afr is off?

Just know from driving and tuning turbo cars. You don't know how the SAFC works. It connects to the wiring of the ECU and bypasses or the ECU about Air and fuel ratios also controls boost basically everything.

You connect it up tune and away you go no need for ECU tunes and such. I have used them on my other Turbo charged cars.

All I need is a wiring diagram and I can probably hook it up with no problems.

Used to change the A/F on my MR2 turbo Eclipse GST and RSX with this product.

I had a dsm for 6 years, i think i know how a safc works since i used it on a daily basis.
Im telling you its not going to work, you cant change the afr because the ecm gets input from the wideband sensor. If its off one way or the other it adds or takes away fuel.
You may be able to up the boost a bit, but you have a map and a tmap sensor sending a boost signal to the ecm. If the ecm thinks its too high it'll close the throttle.
These products worked great on all the 90's turbo cars but its not going to work with our bitchy ecm. Besides with the price of the safc neo you might as well get the hptuners suite, same price.
