Wanting a Redline/GXP with a tune

Well i'm hoping to either get an order in or take off the lot a 2008 Redline or GXP this fall. i already know its gonna be a wicked fast car (i'm coming from a 95 ford ranger auto and currently a 2003 cavalier 5 speed). only thing that i want is it to be a little bit more. I want to get a tune done for it and i think thats about it. Idk which i want though. BSR or a Westers. I've read the posted gain with Westers is 60 to 80 HP but i havent read what the gains with the BSR tune is. Also i'd like to know what the actual horsepower gains have been of people who have done it AND just left teh car otherwise stock. Not even an exhaust upgrade. Also i'd like to know 1/4 mile times and 0-60 times. Yeah i have done a search but all ive found is either people saying its now wicked fast or posting numbers but they also have other things like aftermarket exhaust, CAI, IC, that kind of stuff.

Thanks in advance
Nick

I have a 2007 redline. I spent the 1000 dollars for the bsr programer. I was disappointed. iwent and had it dyno'd just to see what was truly happening.I got 15 hp increase at rear wheels.Period. Only thing I do see is 22 psi boost where I saw 17 before. Wow factor just isnt there... Everything else stock on car....The dyno sheet sent to me by hahn is from a dynojet dyno. They are known to be generous. Mine was dyno'd a mustang dyno.I raced a stock mustang gt with 300hp and 300ft/lbs ...he left me....Guess I was just hoping for more?

actually i was reading on some of the mods people have done. i'm thinking that with the westers tune i'd get a CAI, exhaust (i'm thinking a solo), new intercooler, and BOV spring. i'm thinking that'll get me up to somewhere near 280 rwhp and over 300 with the tq rating (i'm guessing).

Also made a choice on color. i was thinking black with red leather seats, but now i'm thinking forest great with tan interior and top, really like how that looks

if you want to know about the westers tune with lots of mods, just shoot me a pm or check out my youtube account. I've kept lots of records of my progress and dyno sheets after several mods in case you're interseted what each mod did with real world wheel hp.

zero percent financing... or big rebates.... go for it now.

if you're looking to save mo' money for a down payment, it and more will all be lost in the fall when you have to get a 7+% loan for the car and will pay much more in interest!
