Well Elff, what Nova posted the link to in his last message MIGHT work if you could fit it where the stock muffler resides. Opening and closing that so far back in the exhaust stream wouldn't affect the O2 at all...way too far apart for that.

But yea, right up in the engine bay the tune would be all over the place.

Elff,

Has no one else figured out how to enable/disable a tune like Trifecta? The cutout switch could be linked to the same switch.

I'm only hypothesizing, not trying to be a PITA or argumentative.

Like I said, the only use I could think of for me would be to not scare the hell outta nearby old people (have it on silent mode on startup and only switch to open when out of the neighborhood).

Maybe even something like this mid stream: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/pte-h3200/

Honestly though... it does seem like a LOT of effort I'd probably only bother with it if it was REALLY loud... like Pat's open exhaust LS kind of LOUD.

only Trifecta, but I believe they don't do it anymore and at the same time, I don't think anyone has figured out a way to tie it together with a mod like this.

If anyone does, they will be the first.

Trifecta definitely still does the switchable tune. I got one in Feb.

Anyway, thanks everyone for the information it was a good conversation.
