0-60 times?

Wondering how many have measured their personal times on a dashhawk, or similar device.

Just got my dashhawk and yesterday ran a 0-60 test the results on the screen were: 61.5mph / 5.51sec

Now I am running an automatic R/L with a few mods. (see signature)

What do you think?

Not bad. The "official" 0-60 time for the auto is 5.2. If I had more use for a dashhawk I'd buy one and see what kind of 0-60 I can do with mine. Unfortunately, I really have no need for a dashhawk at the moment so I'm better off spending the money on something like a GPS or radar detector.

I'd love to go to a track one of these days though. The homestead speedway is near me but I don't know if they open the track to the public.

I thought the official times for 0-60 were 5.5?

LANDSCAPE, what exactly is your seat and lumbar mod? I find my seat to be a little uncomfortable as the lumbar area is sticking out maybe a shwad too far. I have to adjust myself on long trips now and then.

That's for the manual. The auto is just slightly faster since it keeps the turbo spooled during shifts.

I took the lead from Mark and made my own adjustments from his Mod check this thread:

SEAT MOD

He did an awesome job of posting pics as he went along.

I know I'm not quite at the "official time" but I'm also not a trained driver. I'm curious what times other of us "untrained" have been able to achieve.

I have done a little checking into this and most tracks in Florida have a requirement for convertibles to have at least a 4 point roll cage I would love to be able to drive Sebring, or the road course at Homestead or Daytona. I guess we are stuck with the twisties we find in our own neighborhoods at posted speed limits.

Yes, YellowSky I said posted speed limits, I don't know what you are thinking but you have no proof (he knows what I mean )

I don't have any sophisticated means of timing but I believe I am under 5 seconds.

Yeah, I'm probably not hitting 5.2 either but I do know that the other day I was faster than the Audi on one side of me and the mustang GT on the other side... (from 0 to the posted speed limit of 45 of course...)

Considering you have the stage 3, I'd say you're probably well under 5.

With all you've invested in your Mods I'd think the few bucks for the dashhawk would be no problem & I would hope you could crack the 5 line.

Nice ride BTW

What mods are you running and what were the cost for parts and installation? Under five is pretty impressive. I apologize in advance, new and looking to get faster.
