3" cat for GXP, Redline should be similar

Found this for the GXP guys, Redline is similar,
It’s a 3 in high flow cat, haven’t seen one for the Redline yet but I might not have looked hard enough.

Here are some dyno results on a GXP NOT REDLINE, but I would expect them to be close.

..............HP at the flywheel..........Torque..........Hp at rear wheel

Stock GXP........260........................235......... .........216............

kit ............279........................242..... .............232............
stock cat

Race version.....287........................245........ ..........239............
stock cat

Kit and ......294........................243........... .......244............
3" cat

Looks like an extra 12 wheel hp for changing cats, IF exhaust mods could be added (not true) then I would expect that the same 12 wheel horsepower added to the street catback could be added to the race cat back and would give 251 wheel and flywheel of 302 if the calculations going from wheel hp to flywheel hp were done correctly.

non-race kit, and 3” cat on a GXP

#'s and fitment should be exactly the same

...mods complitment each other so theres a little more to it than just adding hp #'s together but I dont think we will be dissapointed with the results

I read this over there.

I do believe it's not as simple as adding horsepower numbers. They all affect each other as you install them, so numbers will change.

Right, I tried to say, that hence the capitol “IF” and the “(not true)” in the original post. It should be close though.
