if DP means dual pipes...u can get one...the original SKY owners before all the accessories came out were able to purchase the CAMARO dual exhaust muffler...and then weld on exhaust tips of their own choosing. Is that what u mean by DP? It to was made by Magnaflow but not a catback system...what u had to do was cut off the stock muffler and weld on the new..an easy job for a muffler shop. There r many pics of this if u wish to use the search venue.

Solo Performance can make you catless downpipe, its 3" at the bottom but will mate up to the stock exhaust.
Just a fyi, the magnaflow catback necks down to 2.5" near the cat and flares out, solo makes a true 3" catback with no neckdown.

It would be loud with a catless downpipe, but with the stock cat its not as loud as you'd imagine. PM Jeff on the solstice forum, i believe he did make a catback for a sky before.

you could always do what I did....although it was a bit more work. I have a magnaflow exhaust, but wanted the solo cat. When i ordered the cat, I asked jeff at solo to send me a small cut section of their front pipe from their race exhaust system with the new 02 bung location already welded. I think he only charged me like $30 for it or something small like that. I then cut the front section of the magnaflow and welded in its place the front section of the solo and mated it with the solo cat.

No leaks, everything works great, and GREAT sound. I loved the way the magnaflow sounded (solo sounds great too but a little more srt-4ish sounding). Adding their cat to the magnaflow added some deepness and menacing growl. It got louder yeah, but nuts to my neighbors. They all give me the thumbs up coming down the street.

Here you find, what your'e looking for:

RPi - Race Precision, Inc.

RPi GT Race Downpipe - Opel GT/Sky 2.0 Turbo
[RP-GTD02] $375.00

The GT Race downpipe was designed for track use. The 3" downpipe mates directly to our GT exhaust system and offers a 12-18whp gain throughout the powerband. Although the GT Race downpipe is known to NOT cause a check engine light error, it is NOT legal for street or some track use.

Actually, it looks like it does go in the stock location........I'm after one with a cat.....I like to breath clean air....and stay away from big $$$ fines.

In fact, if your read RPi's website...it is a direct replacement. $450 is a little steep for what you are buying....it looks pretty.

I'm strongly considering just going with a catted downpipe......the stock one looks super restrictive...I don't like the sound of any of the exhausts out there. Granted thats been all on my ****ty computer speakers and not in person.

the cat isnt a direct replacement. "The 3" downpipe mates directly to our GT exhaust system" ive even asked eloy himself and he said it wont. the catback might fit the stock location but the dp wont which is what im looking for.

Have you talked to solo yet about the exhaust for your sky, they'll hook you up with the catless downpipe and catback.

I don't think you are going to find a DP that bolts directly to the stock exhaust...I would suggest just buying the DP and going to a local exhaust shop and having them custom fab the end of your stock exhaust to fit the DP. They shouldn't charge anymore the a 100 bucks or so to do it. Just my . MAX

You should get a turboback exhaust. Unless you live in a place where you have to worry about inspections. 3" is good.
