380 HP on pump gas with stock bottom end
That is 325 WHP!!! 15/16 PSI with Hahn Stage IV with High Boost option. I hope to have a dyno-chart to share within the next few days. Power is abundant throughout RPM range. This is all on 93 octane from the local convenience store!
WOT in 1st gear = tire smoke WOT in 2nd gear = tire smoke WOT in gears 3 through 5 = hold on to your hat! This car is a Bonafied Redline and Corvette killer. A special thanks to Bill Hahn and company for making the "High Boost" option possible.

That's pretty badass. I'd like to see some vids if ya have any from the dyno. Just want to hear the car.

Sure sounds nice...but I was wondering....why did you decide to stay with a single exhust, instead of duel? Just sorta curious about that.

Dual exhaust on a 4 cylinder is for aesthetics only and may actually hurt performance.

Bill-Please explain what exactly the "high boost" option does? I thought the Stage 4 went up over 20psi? I see you are running at 15-16. I am going with an upgrade soon and am very interested!

High Boost allows higher boost levels when running pump gas. You can send ecoboost (Bill Hahn Jr.) a private message for more details on the High Boost option.

Gotta ask the question "What did the total cost add up to for production of the "Assassin Sky" you now own?

I dunno, I didn't keep track. does it matter? I think the wheels and tires set me back $5.5k. I think that there is a price list on Hahn's website for the turbo stuff.

Hahn's website claims 380hp to the wheels with Stage 4... Your dyno sheet is not showing that???

The Stage IV chart on the Hahn web site is for 19/20 PSI running a race gas mix. My chart is for 15/16 PSI on pump gas. Without the Hahn High Boost option you cannot run more than 10-12 PSI on straight pump gas because of predentonation (and that's if 92/93 pump gas is avaliable in your area). The High Boost option allows you to run higher boost on normal gas.

From what I see on the chart...I will stick with my RL because I like the low to mid "now" increase I have as opposed to your no real power until your above 4000 rpms. No dissing, but just a observation of how most after market turbo's generate power

Just got back from a night of abusing my GM roadster. Shot a few vids. As you can see I need to invest in a shift light.

below 4000 RPM. My signifigant other drives a GXP and I drive it on a regular basis. I.M.H.O. the 2.0 turbo doesn't have more power 0-4000 RPM than my Sky. Power on both cars starts to kick in around 3300. I can tell you that my Sky is faster than than the GXP. The GXP does have better gearing (especially first and second) and handles better. ![]()

No offense but, would love to see this setup on an automatic-- It'll shift automatically "Before" hitting the limits..no guess work no looking for cops no power cut offs and no looking at the tach.. Just pure power and flying--

A couple of things to consider between the 2.0L and the 2.4L boosted.
1. Tuning software can't yet control the VVT. 2. Tuning software probably isn't controlling the wastegate on the 2.4L. 3. You would have to see the TPS to really judge spool up. 4. The automatic would be the ultimate boost solution. IMHO When all is said and done, it VVT could be controlled along with wastegate then it could be very possible to see a flat Torque curve. Also this dyno run probably didn't rip WOT from 2000 to 6500 it probably wasn't WOT until 3500. I'm guessing here with the way it was run on the dyno. |

The thing to keep in mind is the peak boost level in this case, which is 16 PSI, so it takes a bit longer during a dynorun to achieve this level as compared to, for instance, an 8-9 PSI dynorun such as we typically show for a Stage II. During these dynoruns, we roll into the throttle at 2000 RPM, zero boost, start the test, then just keep it pinned to the floor until redline, so the turbo basically starts from dead zero. If we play around with trying to spool the turbo sooner, such as with multi-gear runs or other techniques, we can get to full boost sooner, but the results are hard to repeat consistently enough for effective dyno tuning. On the street, in real-world loading conditions, peak boost is achieved earlier. I'm sure Bill can verify this a 3rd or 4th gear roll-on. Last edited by SCdyne : 11-21-2007 at 07:58 PM.
