400 Hp
This may have been covered but here is my question:
If you had 2,000 bucks (which I do) what would you do to a Sky redline to improve not only HP but also performance? Can I get to 400 HP with 2 grand?

So if your trying to prioritize your spending then do the wastegate mod first, cost $0. Second a better intercooler, I like the one from Dejon. Next the exhaust, lots of choices there now. Last pipes under the hood including the intake. But your still not gonna hit 400 how ever it is measured till the ECU is fully cracked.

I'd purchase this..
Then get a WB02, exhaust and tuning software. (once it supports the RL)

370 hp
I have 365 hp.and 500 nm.
Ecu / downpipe / turbo upgrade. With a rpi exhaust maby i think + 5 hp so max 370 hp. Turbo upgrade cost 1500 euro. downpipe 200 euro. ecu 400 euro. Picture from orinal and upgrade. Last edited by jans : 01-29-2008 at 06:36 AM. |

I'd start with an exhaust, downpipe and buy the HP Tuners software. Then find a good dyno shop that has experience with GM vehicles.
By owning HPT, you can have the PCM set up to each and every mod you add. Nothing better than having the car tuned specifically for YOUR car. You can also have it set up for an aggressive tune for days you want to drive hard or head to the track and a more conservative tune for other days. Only takes 20 seconds to switch between the two. |

$2k might get you a military surplus booster rocket you can strap to the back of your ride, Wyle E. Coyote style!
