Adjustable Dampening/Ride Height Coilover options?

Just curious what adjustable coilover options are available on the market right now for the Sky?

And how interested would the Sky community be in this type product?

Can't remember who, but there are some adjustable coilovers available. As much as I like the FE3 Bilstiens, I wish there were some adjustable shocks available as a direct replacement as I would like some more damping.

Reason I ask is that we are considering releasing an application for the Sky that would feature 32 way dampening, and fully adjustability. We had originally hoped to release a pilloball mount, but I dont see anyway to do that with the way the top of sky suspension mounts.

In SCCA Solo stock classes springs can not be changed. Shocks can as long as the mounting points are stock. If the shocks work well there could be a market for them in A/Stock and C/Stock for all the Kappas.

What about guys wanting to run in modified, etc? Guys wanting to drag race, road race, etc?

Guess I'm not much of a stock car kind of guy, but I do understand there are many out there that will stay in that class auto-x speaking.

Releasing a shock only setup is probably not worth the investment, so if we do bring it out, it will be a full bolt-on coilover. But you could always change out the spring that comes with the kit with your stock spring...

I wouldn't mind doing something different with my supension. My RL rocks like a baby buggy at highway speeds on concrete roads. The cuts in the road between each slab is in perfect tune with my short wheel base an is driving me nuts

As far as I know, Gravana, Penske and KW are the only adjustable coilovers on the market right now.

And what is the pricing like on the Penske, Kw?

If we do go about producing them for the Sky community, pricing would be on par with Gravana.

$1250 is a very reasonable price if the quality is superior.

Looks like we'll have some competition with Gravana, as that appears to be the only entry level priced coilover for the Sky community.

Obviously the Penske's are pretty expensive, and I have seen not listed price for the KW's yet. Although some of their Varient 2's I've seen are pretty reasonable.

That said, it would be hard to beat the price of the Gravana suspension and I look forward to hearing someone install and review them. Anyone have an idea who manufacturers them for Gravana?

Actually, I believe I do and I have worked with that manufacturer in the past, but Gravana probably does not want that info disclosed. It is an Asian company, and they make great entry level products.

Regardless, like I said, I think we will have a great competitor product for them, and the features on our model should be superior.

The pricing of $1250 for the Gravana's is fair, and our coilovers will be identically priced for this application.

Any interest in a threaded coilover kit with separate rebound and compression adjustments for ~$1600 with springs? How 'bout a c/o sleeve for the Bilsteins with 2.5" ID springs and upper spring locator for somewhere around $350? I have some ideas swimming around in my head.

Ground Control makes a coilover sleeve kit for the Sky/Sol.

I'm sure a double adjustable shock would see some interest from autox and open track guys.

Yes, ours is a double adjustable setup with 24-way dampening on most models, pillow-ball mounts, etc.

We should have our coilovers on the market by the beginning of February for the Sky/Solstice communities, and it's going to be the best bang for the buck on the market, guaranteed.

MSRP is set at $1350, and our dealers will sell them for around $1215/set.

I'll post some images of them once we get signed up on the board as an advertiser.

When you say "double adjustable," do you mean one knob adjusts rebound and compression simultaniously? Or are there separate adjustments for rebound and compression?
