Aftermarket Brake Kit Purchase...

Call me crazy, stupid, or whatever... but... I think I want some new 13" brakes! Besides, is there really such a thing as TOO MUCH BRAKE?

Set me back about 2200, but well worth it. < Non-Supporting Vendor Info Removed By Moderator >

Post pictures as soon as you can... I'm very interested in seen them on a consumer car and not on a "show" car.

Did you installed them or you had someone else install them?

Regards,

BA...

someone out in Arizona should contact Baer and see if they can get them to put together a system for the Sky/Sol

I agree!

With my base Sky, brakes were a non issue; but with the Redline being so quick, the brakes are not what they could be....

Bigger brakes would be very nice....

Keep us in the loop on your findings...

I guess you cant have too much brakes but you could certianly have too little tire to handle the brakes.

I agree.... but in the case of the Redline, the Goodyear F1 tires are amazing...

Now just the brakes and we are all set!

I have SSBC brakes and they are super. Had them on my 12 sec. Solstice
also. These are 13'' with slotted rotors.

^^^ This bugs the crap out of me! This forum is to share information about the Sky. When important content gets "filtered" by a mods (Gestapo) I feel like I'm in old Berlin. Just because a vendor gives you money doesn't mean all others should be excluded. This is the USA and we SHOULD have freedom of speak on this forum.

Now, it's different if a Non-Supporting Vendor comes on here to sell something, but when it's just an average person talking about a purchase they make; it should be be deleted.

I have non-supporting vendor stuff on my car that I talk about all the time. The trick is to not post exact order numbers, website links or prices. You can talk in generalities all you want. Once it becomes a "commercial" then it opens the door for all of us to get buried by junk posts by spammers. If we have to go to one extreme or the other, I guess I would have to side on the "keep it free of the crap." If people want to know about my Non-Supporting Vendor stuff they can (and do) PM me. It gets them the information that they want without clogging up the forum for the rest of us.

There. It's bigger. Now you'll probably complain about the resolution or something...

guys I spoke with Baer and all they said is that they have nothing in development, check back later. We need a bunch more people to contact them and ask them about future applications. Hopefully they will respond.
