Any one tried any of these dejon powerhouse upgrades

I was looking at the intercoooler, cai, and intercooler piping to see if any one has had any luck/performance increase out of them. I just recently installed the bsr tune and I was wanting better pipes cuase acording to the instructions from bsr, they said to frequently check the intercooler pipes for leaks and loose piping. Here is a link to the parts im referring to.

I have replacement intercooler pipes from someone else but got my intercooler from Dejon. Great folks to work with! As far as putting that on with the BSR tune I would caution that you might want to contact Hahn if that is where you got if from cause when I did they suggested that I wait until they did some testing with replacement intercoolers before I put the BSR tune on my car ... HTH

I totally agree with you but from what I hear stage 2 and 3 are very close to completion. The intercooling pipes were my biggest worry at the moment but I would probaly get that whole package deal if some oner had some dynos of the cai and intercooler on it. Are the intercooler pipes less likely to come apart then the stock ones in your opion? Id harde to have one come losse on me in the middle of a road trip. By the way I did get them from hahn racing for $995 and the service and speed of getting my unit was great. I have nothing but good things to say about hahn racing.

I have pipes from Exhaust Depot and the intercooler is from Dejon. Most important part of all of that is taking the time to fit it all and then making sure that the hose clamps are in the right spots before you tighten them down.

No but I really like the color choices that dejon offers in the intercooler pipes.

i'd just like to throw in here........i just ordered the Dejon Intercooler. shipping started today, so by early next week, it should be here.

I was going to do it myself, but seeing that i'd have to buy a low profile jack, jack stands, and risk messing something up, I'm having a performance shop in my area put it on for me. They're really cool, and the best thing is......they have a dyno.

FINALLY, someone will be able to post up real life dyno numbers for the Dejon Intercooler. I'll keep everyone posted about how it comes out.......and no, i won't be removing any of my mods for a before run so don't ask, heh heh.

I as well look forward to your results. One thing I ask my friend, that you put the boost solinoid back on. It makes such a differance in my car if it is disabled but every one is saying how much harm it can do to your engine that id like to see the results id get with it hooked up. After I did the bsr hook up I could feel the power being robbed after the solinoid was reconnected. Whish it didnt cuase possible problems or am I hearing BS? After the BSR tune I finally see promise in my car being a real sports car. I think after a new intercooler and a real cai that works ill achieve the power ive been looking forward to this whole time.

i've heard no posts about ill effects about the solenoid mod. Some people didn't like it with it and reverted back. I think i'll keep it on. But as far as moving things back and forth, i don't have too much money for too many dyno runs unfortunately

ok people. I'm getting the intercooler installed today. the shop i'm using has a dynapack dyno, so i'm not sure if i can get before AND after dynos. well.......i could......but having to unload it, and then load the car again, might get a little pricey. they said if i did both, they'd give me 4 pulls before, and 6 after. If anything, i'll get an after dyno, but.....of course it won't do much good without a baseline, considering my other dyno run was on a Dynodynamics dyno.

Anyone want to chip in? I'm getting it installed between 2-3pm.

Can't wait to see what you guys have been talking about

Well it has been one week now with the Dejon Intercooler and Magnaflow exhaust. There is definitely a difference in power. Enough so that I have to be careful about passing someone and seeing my speedo over 100 mph The intercooler was the best of the two from a power gain. I have been plagued with Engine light warnings from the beginning, but since I put the Intercooler on, there have been no, notta, codes...go figure

only time for a quick post......well...........i'm back. I got it installed.....and yep.......i got dyno numbers. before and after. Im not stock, so it may not be as high a yield for someone that buys one for their stock car, but none the less it's good info.

Before Intercooler

226 hp and 226 ft lb (I'll post dyno scans later)

After Intercooler

232 (+6)hp and 240 (+14)ft lb (I'll post dyno scans later)

Looking at the graph, we can see just how much the ECU messes with everything. Damn torque management. Just convinces me to get a tune.

With the new intercooler, it may not yield a super high peak, but the torque curve is vastly improved. Doesn't drop as quickly up top. Much flatter in the mid range, and seems to be a bit more linear and smooth. First impressions driving back, I can notice more power, especially mid range and up high. I'll test it on the highway later today, as i couldn't really get higher than 40 so far.

Yep noticed all of the above ... Also the turbo does not seem to run out at 5500 RPM and seems to be there all the way to redline
