BSR tune: First mod you can really feel!

I flashed my ecu today with the BSR tune kit and man it makes my car finally feel like a sports car with some balls. I have a magnaflow exhaust but could not feel the differance like I did when I added this mod. 23 psi like every one said, around 7k redline/cutoff and belive it or not better fuel economy. Im very pleased so far and look forward to there stage 2 and 3 mods. If you guys wana get a mod you will notice this is it. People can talk about the warranty all they want, im willing to take the chance.

Buzzard;
Welcome to the BSR Tuned Club...I'm running one on my GXP and it has performed flawlessly for the 800 miles I've driven with the tune installed. Also; just as you say, this mod can truly be felt and there is no negative impact on fuel mileage.

Ill follow up with my BSR tune. My mpg went close to normal. (it is still a lil better then before). It makes me wonder if there isnt somthign eles in the picture that is co-controling the engine. I was origanally getting super gas mileage (like 45 mpg) then it just dropped to a lil better then before gas miledge. The power in my car is awsome and the best mod by far. I read so many others are not having such great results from there non BSR ecm tunes and thats unfortunate. I really feel a major positive gain with the rev limiter being at 7k. I drive a manual and the turbo usally doesnt spool up long enough for me to feel the power and with the rev limiter being a lil more I can use the power better. Any ways that is what I get with this product and im a happy customer so far

There is no question about power you can "feel" when you increase the boost pressure like that. It's kind of a no brainer. According to charts though, you should have gotten more, if not the same amount of gain when you bolted on the Magnaflow system.

Interesting! Please share the supporting charts to show how much should have been gained with the increased boost? I have the BSR / Magnaflow set up but want to make sure I am maximizing the potential. Thanks.

PS. also very interested in what your intercooler & BSR tune would produce!!

question...

what would you guys estimate the 0-60 time to be on the redline with just bsr tune?

5 seconds flat with an automatic? maybe faster??

thats my short term goal...but if i can reach that with just rpi's IC then i might just do that first

Doesn't the bsr tune add about 40 hp or somewhere around there? Since a stock automatic will do 0-60 in 5.2, shouldn't the bsr tune drop it into the high 4s?

The BSR tune comes on it's own standalone tuner. If you want to use HP Tuners, then you would want to go with the other vendor that sells his tunes for HP.

i c. No prob. I guess, I could just tune it myself ( so long as HPT gets some damn fire under their a@@ and makes the software compatible with a new patch ). I heard there was a beta, heh I dont care for betas too much though. Lots of bugs.

Note Hahn Racecraft is located in Illinois so if you live in Illinois also they will probably have to charge you tax on the purchase.

Service ESC

I just got my BSR Tune from Hahn Racecraft for my 2008 Saturn Sky Redline automatic. I uploaded the tune and immediately my car's readout said "Service ESC" "Service Traction Control" and "ESC OFF"

The car wouldn't start at all, until I returned the original programming.

What's the deal?

I thought I had read somewhere that the method used to access the ECUs in the 08s is not the same as the 07s. Do they already have a way to access the 08 ECUs?

one more thing....how long did it take them to ship it to you? like what shipping do they use, usps priority, ups ground, fedex, etc.?
