8th Place??? Wow, car and driver obviously didn't take into account beauty at all. But, I guess it's fair for performance, kindof. I'll take a turbo 4 for excitement over any of those others anyday.

For the GXP/Red Line to make the list TWICE, is pretty amazing. Yet, the editors STILL change positions every chance they get.

For example:

"[The Mustang] looks just as good with the rear fenders obscured by tire smoke."

But when it comes to the GPX and Red Line: "Launching a five-speed-manual GXP requires tremendous finesse and some luck. Leave the line with too few revs, and you bog; use too many or be harsh with clutch engagement, and the tires go up in smoke."

And then the "winner" is a stripped '06 model?

I wonder if they re-tested the cars or if those are just re-published numbers from their previous tests?

i think the auto tied for second with the mustang...if it had been a black redline it would have been the fastest...zoom,zoom.

I'm really curious to know how things might have differed had they actually tested a Sky as well... I drove a base model Solstice and was far less than impressed.... the handling was a joke for a "sports car".

the articles sound like re-hashes of previous articles. nothing new here at all. think "economy of scale" - ie recycling earlier reviews with slightly different headlines.
