ECM Questions with a turbo

I'm going from a sky 2.4 to a sky 2.4 with a Hahn Tune. Can a salvage anything? , the ECM. Since its a computor, I thought the reflash is like Microsoft's reformatting a drive!! What do I need, a new ECM with a copy of my cars tune? Which gets performed first, a Security Relearn or Crankshaft Variation relearn (Case?)? Also what's the difference with using a HP tuner and using a GM Tech ii scanner to do above!

You should contact Hahn to see what you will need to do. Some vendors lock the ECM so that you can not get into it, Hahn is one of them, so you will not be able to use HP tuners to change any parts of the turbo tune.

The best thing though is to ask Hahn what you will need.
