eibach springs question

Hello out there,
Has anyone installed the eibach springs from kappasphere?
If so do you like the results and how much of a difference did it make?
Thanks,
Melissa

Hi Melissa, I don't have it, but I think YellowSky installed it on his 2.4L Sky. From all external appearance & I discussed this w/ YS this past WE on our Keys run, the car did not "physically" look like it was lower to the ground. According to YS where you do see a difference is in the wheel wells themselves, the tires are "higher" in there, if I recall were the words he used. Or the body was closer to the top of the wheels, hope that makes sense to ya--

I have them....heres a little pros and cons list I made for you.

Pros:
Better handling
Better looking lower stance

Cons:
Noise over bumps
Since its lower its much easier to hit on bumps and dips

If you like a quiet ride stay away from these because I do hear noises over bumps ever since I had them installed.
If you like to drive and not worry about hitting stuff then stay away from this mod also.

I could care less about the cons so I am happy with them =)

SIDE NOTE:::: I upgraded my wheels to 19s before I had the lowering spring installed and I could feel every bump on the road and it made me regret putting on the 19s but once I had the lowering springs installed it was a different animal

Hope this helps

Marco

I have the Eibach Sportline 2" springs and love them, absolutely no noise if
properly installed.........must remember to shorten the bump stops,
I have 20'' Weld wheels and Dunlop Sport Maxx tires 245-35-20" and
ride quality is near stock but handling is much improved in my opinion
this is a must to make a SKY look right.
