Why would you put a switch in the car? Wouldn't you want HP all the time?

Maybe reword it like this.

"Tired of all that extra HP from your mighty electric turbo? Flick the console switch and humble your ride by reducing HP 23-40 for streetable performance."

Actually it IS real, and people buy that junk all the time. Also watch out for the 'tornado' air filter inserts that are advertized as turbochargers.

It's all gimmicky crap.

I saw it on the internet - it must be true

Are those even photos of a Solstice? I cannot tell - and the one has NISSAN as a text overlay.

Isn't that basically like hooking up a leaf blower to the air intake to push a greater volume of air through the system? I don't recall that being all that effective.

The only switch oriented boost I have ever seen work would be a nitrous kit. I think that woul blow the head off the ecotec.

"The One Time Boost" for when you really just want to beat that damn Shelby Mustang off the light.

I loved all the reasons he gave why a mechanical supercharger was a bad idea. LOL While true, too bad they actually work.
