engine *barks*

Hi everyone

Got my Dejon intercooler and CIA put on this week with the additional piping that they offer in the kit.
Since , when I hit the throttle and let it go to shift , i hear a noise that sounds like a little pup on his first barks a fraction of a second before the BOV swoooooooshhhh noise .
Noise seams to be coming from the drivers side . i am wondering if it could be the *clearer* noise of the throttle body in action that used to be unheard.

anybody else with the same *new* but anoìng sound ?

Thx
FingZ

I can clearly hear the BOV.

It`s another different noise that i am hearing from what seams to be the drivers side ....the BOV can be well heard on the passagers side and its a smooth whssssss noise .....

Wondering if I can film it with the noise then post it and link the post if the sound is good....

I know what you're talking about, i heard the same thing when i opened up my airbox. Could be a number of things making that noise, but i wouldnt worry about it since its not really a problem.

I would still say it is the BOV. It is the initial "pop" of it opening. Then the swoosh noise is it continuing to be open till you get on the throttle again.

It sounds like you might have some compressor surge. Your BOV's spring tension is probably set too stiff. It will sound like a little bark or flutter. Try adjusting your BOV spring tension.

Wait compressor surge has nothing to do with the bov, your thinking of bov flutter.
I've had many that fluttered, turboxs ones do all the time, but its not bov flutter because it only barks once. I think its just the sound of it closing.
Never heard this bark on my talon because the bov wasnt on the turbo, but further down the stream.
