Homemade duel gauge pod (many pictures)

Hello all. This is my finial 2011 project I just completed. I made this from materials around the house for practically nothing. Enjoy!

Looks great! I probably would have went flat/textured black rather than gloss, but it looks fantastic. I have the A-pillar, but this is at least as good if not better.

Thanks! I went with the same gloss paint as the original piece. I used rustolem appliance paint and it matched perfectly. I also angled them for the best driver view.

Some day I want to swap the radio and the HVAC controls. I feel like the radio should be on top.

Looks pretty good. I would have molded/ filled in the rear parts of the tubes as well so that they don't just come to an abrupt end. It would have looked better, IMO.

Very nice and creative! I like it!
I wonder what it would look like with a 45 degree PVC Elbow, I'm sure much less work involve....

Thanks. I did what I did because that's how I wanted it. The elbow idea may be less work.

I love it when a well-thought-out, home-made prject works out the way you intended it too. That looks great. Wonderful job.
