If I could shave 1k of lbs off the Sky....

It would be as quick as this. My wife rented it for my birthday yesterday. I must say our sky is way more comfy. It was REALLY fun to drive.

We have a turbo elise here and the comfort is uncomprable to the sky. All one needs to do is try to get in and out of the elise. Still a blast to drive though. Happy Birthday!

And I thought our Skys looked like toys! Your wife had a great idea. Hope you had an awesome birthday!

I had a metallic purple (Augentine) 2007 Lotus Elise ready to purchase. On the evening prior (finances already lined up and in my pocket), my wife turned it down. (This happened twice.)

I got so sick of being 'allowed' to purchase the car, then to get it denied. So, the next morning, I went to the Saturn dealer and put my deposit down on a Redline.

So the saying goes...."I wanted the Lotus, but my wife said the Sky's the limit."

In the end, I think it turned out well. It's a little easier to get stuff on the Sky.

I still think the Sky turns just as many heads at the stop signs.
