I have this same question about the exhaust. There are quite a few choices out there. There may be some advantages with HP increase if you add other mods and other folks are interested with what it sounds like. Personally I am more interested in the sound. The best advice I got was to go to a run and see what people have so I can hear the exhaust in person then decide.

I am sure you will get some opinions from others about the CAI. From what I have read here in the forum here the factory CAI doesn't add more HP (there is discussion it may reduce it by some) but some folks say it "sounds cool". I haven't heard one yet myself to comment.

Enjoy the car!

Please note they have not released the RL CAI yet, so no one knows what if any change the RL CAI might make. Also one thing everyone seems to forget is that the GMPP cat back and cai will most likely be the only items which will be carb approved, so if that matters to you for passing a state inspection etc. only go with the GMPP.

If the carb approval doesn't matter to you, there are other cat backs and cai that probably make better HP gains.

The other thing that has been brought up is that GM intends to release their own staged performance upgrades for the Sky, my best guess is that those staged performance upgrades will also be based on their existing cai and cat back.
