I also installed the fuel pump baffle to mute the sound of the injectors. It does a good job vs. what is in there originally.
The GMPP intake, sounds pretty interesting. You get some nice shift noises, and some strange ones when you come off the gas without shifting from my short first test drive. (The famous gooble)
I know it's noted that this modification doesn't offer a major or any HP gain. I found however, the responsiveness of the engine was improved. The cars engine felt smoother and the power seemed to come to me quicker.
It should be noted, I have a custom Trifecta tune.
It was only one short drive, so we will see. I also need to get the car retuned from Trifecta once I add on my IC pipes and HF DP.

I think most have found that the intake really is just an "audio" upgrade, b/c the stock intake is fairly efficient. You're not really getting a whole lot more air into the engine, just more aggressive intake and turbo wastegate sound.

Forty's car seemed to make gains with the intake he put on.
I drove it a second day and I'm wondering if it's actually decreased power. Initially it felt like more power, but I realized my back end isn't kicking out all over the place like it normally does, so the perception of more linear power is in my head. Really, it could just be less power so the wheels aren't kicking out and I'm moving along faster.
I need to have my tune re-done. I'm doing some more work to the car so I'll tune it again then.
One thing I've noticed, and enjoy, is that the intake is not overbearing and takes over the sound of the car. Much appreciated!
