I miss BTF in these forums. He is one of the smartest and coolest LNF tuner out there. All the stuff he was talking about the LNF two years ago.....are now just being discovered by these so-called "tuners"
He is so right about the fuel system and the head of the LNF.........and many were against his ideas. But now, who is the correct one? lol
anywho, a couple of years ago...he was talking about VNT and compound turbos. He wanted to do them, but he decided to go to another platform
He is into subies and hondas now. More market...and better for his business.
Only a few people in the LNF world....wana go balls out....unlike those platforms.
That's why he was my first choice to do my compound kit, since I know he will be very interested to do one on a LNF. Plus of course, I was very happy with the previous two kits that I received from him (gt30r kit...and gt35r kit).
His wife's gxp I believe jumped over big boulders. Two wheels were bent...and the hood was damaged. He just recently able to straighten the hood of the gxp.
Thats why after he straightened the hood, he discovered that his previous placement of turbos will not work
So this is his third revision of the compound kit.
He actually would like to have a side fender 4" exhaust on my set-up. It will produce more power and better flow. But I decided not to go with that set-up.....since I don't think it will be legal to drive around with that exhaust sticking out and being loud. I'll be pulled over left and right.
I told him to just use a 4" dp that will gradually become 3" to connect to the 3" solo exhaust. That will definitely affect the power of the car, and not getting the max potential. But that's ok, I'll be happy with 600whp with virtually no lag
I actually mentioned you before, when we first talked on the phone. BTF knows you and he said hi as well
