Modded Sky vs Corvette Z06

Finally got the chance to run against a Vette.

Cars:

Mine is a 2.4 with a Hahn Racecraft Stage 2 turbo. It has been tuned to app. 325 at the crank. 5 speed transmission. Magnaflow exhaust.

Friend has a 2004 Z06 (405HP) with a 6 speed. All stock.


The race:

Rolling race from 30MPH. I got the hit. First race he went from 2nd to 5th. I obviously won. 2nd race went smooth. Even though I had the hit, he got into it right with me due to the SLIGHT turbo lag. I stayed very close in 2nd gear. He started pulling away into 3rd. We went to about 110-120. He ended up about 4-5 lengths ahead of me at the finish. We did go 3 more times with the same result.

I was very pleased with these results! I would say I need about 30 more RWHP to beat the Vette. Looks like I need to go to Stage 3.......
