Welcome. Have not used their stage 2 tune but they partially tuned my 2.4 turbo setup and I'll be taking the car to them sometime in the next couple of months to do a dyno tune on it.

Thank you for the welcome Robotech.

I'm having them do the 2 stage tune and installing a catless down pipe. Martin Scott seams like a nice guy.

How much difference do you think it would make to put in a high flow air filter using the oem air box?

Thanks

Honestly, the air filter won't do anything. Heck, doing the whole intake really only changes the sound of the car, does nothing for performance. But oh, if you like the sound of a bypass valve...the intake does wonders.

Martin had some rough moments and hasn't had the best history with some owners in the past but I've been dealing with him for more than a year now and he's been great by me. So much so I'm going with him and his tuner to dial in my car. (The modifications are at a point where tuning is beyond my confidence level in knowing I crossed all the Ts and dotted all the Is.)

We're lucky to have all our venders such as DDM, Hahn, Werks, and RPM. They all are supporting our car, a dead model from a dead brand...and that's something to be thankful for. I have a Hahn Intercooler. Got my suspension stuff, fuel rail, and oil return line for the turbo from DDM, got my clutch from Werks, and then my high flow cat, cold side charge pipe, and big wheel turbo from RPM.

I've had sport cars before but never did any mods on them. I paid $13,000 for a 2009 with 33,000 miles and if the tune dose what they say it will do 305whp/345wtq, that's a lot of bang for the buck. I bought the car in AZ so I'm having them do the install as we speak at there shop and then having it shipped to me. It would have been nice to drive the car before the tune and then after to fell the difference. I'm hoping to get the car in a week or two. I'm also thinking of installing the brace bundle from DDM. P.s want to keep car as stock sounding as I can.

Thank you for your time and advise Robotech.

I firmly believe that the DDM ProBeam is the single best performance enhancement you can make.
Oh yeah, welcome!

No problem and glad to help. I think you'll be happy with the tune.

Well, it all depends on which segment of "performance" someone wants to make. Handling wise, the ProBeam is high on the list...I'd say with the backbone and upgraded coil overs. But power wise, the ProBeam does nothing...just as a tune will do nothing for handling.

Now, the ProBeam will let you use more of the power you have sooner and going with more power without it is going to make bad handling traits worse but I think most will understand what I'm getting at. "Performance" is a broad term.
