every 50-75 shot needs 1-2 degrees of retard to keep cylinder pressure down. Also with the torque spikes the nitrous will inflict, odds are your rods are going to fail very quickly.
Also before you say "I will get a MSD engine retarder", remember that its a car from 2007-2009, they dont take kindly to goofy add ons that it cannot see or control.
Any way you slice it, N2O isnt a good idea on a kappa. Go E85 and big turbo. That plus a built motor will get you to 500hp.. and no, none of that is cheap, and no, it is not re-sellable.
its for any modder to be honest. Mods on sky's = worthless. Hence why mine was stripped as much as it could be before it was sold. The average sky buyer is happy with 230whp

Just curious, I don't plan to up my hp.
I've read a lot about clutches slipping, etc. with more hp. What about an automatic? Would anything need to be done with it?

nope. You should be good to 400+ in an auto. Its harder to get there though because of the drive train loss. Pistons/rods would be giving way long before the trans I would think

It would be helpful to see your timeslip. We need to know your 60' and trap speed.
Your best bet to go faster is to ditch the GMPP tune. It's probably the slowest of them all. I ran a 12.6@110mph with a stock turbo, bolt ons and an E47 tune. You have up to a full second you can cut just by changing your tune. I would go that route first.

its a ****ty tune. Sorry but GMPP is the LAST one I would recommend to anyone.
