Does anyone know if the exhaust and intake solenoids are covered in the 5yr/100,000 mile warranty?

This is an old post, but I also don't have an exact answer. The Camshaft Position Solenoids are covered, so I would guess that the intake and exhaust are as well.

Not sure if you've had to deal with them or not, but the folks at the Warranty line were less than helpful for me. Took them 20+ minutes of me back and forth while on hold to come up with the conclussion that the Camshaft Position Solenoids WERE NOT covered under the powertrain. A 5 minute call to my local Saturn Authorized Service Center gave me the correct info that they were.

Pretty sure they'd be covered, as Brad says. But even so, they're cheap and easy enough to replace yourself, that I wouldn't be bothered if they weren't covered.

haha now that you mention it the one conversation I had with them was pretty much a waste of time.

The solo pods are driven by oil pressure. According to GM policy, all internally lubricated parts are covered. The position sensers are covered as well.
