RPi GT Exhaust Installed 2.4L Auto

First and foremost I want to thank Eloy and the entire RPi team, Tony and Theresa from nationals, and Nan for letting me hear the GT exhaust for the first time the week after I got my car.

In Vegas for Nationals this year Tony and Theresa (Sorry if I'm not spelling your name correctly!) did an outstanding job setting up alot of sponsors for the event. There had to be 50+ items won. Going into the event I knew I wanted to win either an exhaust (Both RPi and Solo were donating) or a Wind Restrictor (thats a whole other story!!!, miss you guys).

At the event I noticed alot of people throwing down maybe $5 on raffle tickets. Since there was the general raffle as well as the Super Raffle for the Racing school I also noticed more people were going for the $7000 racing school prize. (T&T I am still very impressed with your work on getting sponsors!). Well, anyways, I decided to be a gambler for once since I NEVER gamble and the prizes were great. I threw a hundred bucks @ the counter and said Tickets Please!

At the ceremony during the raffle I didn't win the Wind Restrictor and was pretty bummed until I won the RPi Stealth Single Exhaust w/ install!!! That was perfect since its about a 1/2 hour from my work to Paramount where Eloy is.

When I got my car I had already been a forum member for awhile so I went on a run that week and got to hear HappyAmI's GT exhaust so I worked it out with Eloy so I could pay the difference between the Stealth Single and the GT Dual. Thank you a million times over Eloy for working that out for me!

I absolutly love this exhaust and my little 2.4L Auto needs to carry its XXLLS around in a wheelbarrow now!

Here are some pix and videos if I can get them to work. The left side was cut (perfectly) by RPi since I only had a single outlet to start btw.

That is a fantastic quote. I'm still afraid the GT exhaust is too loud for my wife's approval, but I very much want one, more every time I hear one on a video like this.

Its quiet for the 2.0 redline but louder on the 2.4L non turbo.

That's a good thing, I don't care if it's loud (as long as it's not law-enforcement provoking loud) but my wife is a little pickier. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy the parts piecemeal or just order the whole R1 at once...

I've got the turbo (redline not aftermarket turbo) but while I'm sure it's quieter than the 2.4 it's no muffler

I have complained about the Sky exhaust on the Turbo since we got it. Even my 1970 Opel GT sounds better. I got the RPI IC and exhaust ... no down pipe.. and it sounds purfect. Even the Mrs. siad the other day "Gee this car sounds soo much better now" !!! So if the RPI Exhaust has the Mrs' seal of approval then all is good in the world.
