Re: Solo Street Race Exhaust ????

I like mine. Sounds great and pretty easy to install. Like any mods on the sky, you wont see any performance gains without a tune.

I think its an awesome system. It is loud system, especially during break in. Once the carbon builds up in the pipes a bit, its lest ring-y and has a really nice tone.

Here is a video of my car on the dyno with the HF cat and street race exhaust:

definitely worth getting. i put two 5" round x 18" long magnaflow mufflers on it, on one each side, and it toned it down a lot. cold starts are a killer.

now if i wouldve had catalyst heating disabled then like i do now i might have just left the mufflers off. just too much noise at start up.

Thanks all for the great info and sound bite. I have the Trifecta Tune and have contacted Vince to see if I will need a retune after the install.

I have had mine for 3 years. It's great for the track and with the high flow cat, you definitely feel more power. However, it is loud at mid peddle. After a few weeks, I put in a glass dampner on either side, then things were much tamer when I wanted them to be and sounding like thunder when opening up.

I have this system with the Solo resonators installed but it was still too noisy in a coupe. Would have been great in a convert. Still have the brand new system in Vancouver, if anyone is interested in it.
