08 Silver Sky Redline ordered!!!...San Antonio area buyer's BE AWARE!!!...

First off let me tell you my background... My name is Max and I'm currently deployed in an undisclosed location in the Middle East and I'm due back in the States around the 1st of Aug. Before I left I had been working with a salesperson from Saturn of San Antonio NorthEast to have my SKY RL ordered and at the dealership by the time I got home. This salesperson DID NOT know very much about the cars she was saleing and DID NOT "seem" very honest. First off she kept telling me that the regular RL was a "Limited Edition" which is a bunch of salesman BS! Second, she kept giving me the run around about not being able to order the SKY till I signed some paperwork and had my trade in appraised... What a load of crap!! She was not willing to work around my situation of being deployed to protect her freedoms or even email me back when I would email her. I would advise anyone in the San Antonio area to go elsewhere!! Especially Military!! Anyways, I am from Houston so I figured I would go back there to buy. I called up Saturn of Houston- Katy Freeway and spoke with Adam and boy let me tell you so far it has been my best car buying experince ever!! He was so nice and willing to work with me and go out of his way for me!! He said he was honered to be able to make this happen for me and wished me a safe return which is so much more than I ever got from SOSA- NE! Which is sad considering there is a HUGE military community in the San Antonio area!! So my SKY RL should be on the lot with a SOLD sign on it so no knucklehead's test drive my baby! It'll be silver with black leather, Monsoon-6 disc changer, manual, chrome wheels, and spoiler. I already have the GMPP Intake and Dejon CBV Spring waiting at home. Like I said San Antonio buyers please look elsewhere. Take a trip out to Houston to get a better selection and service!! Once I take delivery I'll post pics and tell everyone how the rest of the buying experience was... MAX

Welcome Home Max!

And what a great welcoming home it will be ... family, friends and a brand new shiny Sky Red Line to boot! Today's military has every right to march home heads high, backs straight and a smile on their souls

Good job soldier ... I salute you and all your buddies!

Gotta go with MM on this one! Down in TX, you won't need to worry about it getting cold too soon. I'd really wait for the new color- it's breathtaking!

Sorry to hear about the first Experience, sad that people are so short sighted today.

Safe home to your family and Shiny New SKY!

Thanks to you and all the other Military Friends and Family for defending freedom all over the world. I can only imagine where your service brings you, but stay sharp, and get home safe!!

Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement and thanks! Sorry, but truth be told, I have never been a fan of red cars! It was either silver, black or midnight blue. And I chose sliver because it was my fav color and I just don't like the look of the silver windshield frame on any other color! GM really needs to make that body color. SO, I'm trying to decide which kind/company to go with for a wind blocker?? What do you all suggest?? Thanks, MAX

I'm not a red car kind of guy either, but I would be for that! It's kinda dark with a lot of flake. Everyone loved it!

Anyway, Windrestrictor (Dynamic Auto Concepts - Your source for high-end Wind Restrictor™s for roadsters) is an awesome vendor, and their screens are very popular around these parts. The Pennington family really puts their collective heart and soul into their work- they're Texans, so what else could you possibly expect? There are plenty of options- check them out!

No Doubt, Windrestrictor, as Reed said. Great Product, etchings look awesome, and they are from your home state which makes it a no brainer!
