Bought a 2009 Red Line!
Today has been a good day. Sure, I'm poorer than I was yesterday, and sure my old SL1 is sad and more than a little envious, but I'm up one 2009 Sky Red Line!

Life is good.

For those keeping score:
- 2009 Evening Blue Red Line, manual
- Monsoon Audio + 6 disc changer
- Chrome wheels
- Black leather interior/black top

I'll post pics later this evening or tomorrow when I get a chance. Right now, I have the urge to go do victory laps around the city.

Also: thanks to everyone here for providing such a great resource. This site was uber helpful when doing my homework before I bought. Y'all rock!

Congratulations.

I'm curious to see what evening blue looks like. The postage stamp sized sample I saw at the dealership last time didn't really help me a lot.

Please pardon my poor photography skills. Unfortunately, the color doesn't really come through in these. It's a very deep and rich blue.

Thanks!! That'll work. Is there any metal flake in the paint? Looks pretty close to the old Midnight Blue to me...

I got scared for a minute...I thought it was going to be that Miata blue that we saw at Mecca...I like it...Congratulations...and thanks for posting your pics...we need to see all the new colors.

I just checked the website and they still have the 2008 model colors listed., GM is way too slow updating the site... sometimes i just dont get it...

I almost had to take it on faith that they wouldn't put a bad color on such an awesome car. The dealer I bought it from didn't even have color samples! Luckily, they got a shipment on Saturday including the one I've got now so I didn't have to buy blind.

As an interesting aside; I was sitting in the salesman's office facing the road waiting for some paperwork and a car carrier pulled up with a load of about a dozen Sky's including two of the Ruby Reds on top. Color me surprised! I just wish I'd had my camera handy.

Somwhere in one of the threads there are pics of the Ruby Red, but pics dont do the car justice, may have to take a look at my local dealer to see if i can find one, last time i checked was, they had the Carbon Fiber one with the silver stripe....

I checked this morning in the sun and it doesn't look like there's any metal flake. I'll try to get a better picture up this evening.
