Delivery/Allocation Question

Hello All!

Perhaps this has been asked and answered before but I searched and couldn't find it (or was too stupid to recognize it when i saw it ) but...

is there anyway to determine what cars the dealer would/will be getting in their allocation?

Lets say the dealer has 10 base Sky's and 2 Sky R/L's on order. He is allocated 2 Sky's per month (#'s off the top of my head). Is there any formula they(GM or the plant) use to determine what Sky, base or R/L, the dealer will receive? Or is it all just close your eyes and point?

Or with R/L production reving up will we soon be faced with a veritable delegue of Skys!?!

40% of his whole Sky Allocation should be Red Lines. Or close anyway. Some dealerships that only got 4 sky's might not get a Red Line at all for 2007.

I hope you meant 2006! I'd hate to have to wait till 2008 for my R/L!

There were no 2006 Sky's. You had 2007 in the 2006 build year but they were 2007 models.
But some small dealers might only get 4 or 6 Total 2007 Sky's.
