Getting Your Saturn Sky Forum for discussing the process of ordering/tracking/buying your Saturn Sky. Ever wonder what a VOMS is? How about an "image", or how cars are allocated? The answer probably lies within.

Posted by Small Dealer on the Solstice Forum.

Took a peak at the Retail Stock orders this morning. 10 of the 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXPs and 3 of 2007 Saturn Sky Redlines are lised as #4200 "Shipped" on the locator.

Looked at a small sampling of them, none have been invoiced, Event Code #4150.

This presents additional complications. The cars could actually be shipped without being invoiced. If this happens they should arrive with labels that say they are property of GM. They may also come without priced window stickers. In either case the cars would not be saleable until a priced window sticker is placed on the car or it is invoiced to the dealership and released by GM.

When they are finally invoiced, another issue comes up. It is also possible that if any of them only have to travel a short distance, they may arrive before the Manufacturer's Certificate Of Origin, or MSO. That would also make them unsaleable, until the MSO arrives from GM.

That of course all depends on if the cars were shipped. If the went Event Code #4200 Shipped to #4B00 Bayed (again), they could still be parked in Wilmington, and paperwork issues will not matter.

Event Code

I'm not sure who was going to track orders for the members with model numbers.

My order number is KFVV21 with a TPW of 10/30/2006.

Does that put me at event code 3300?

If your not the gentleman doing the tracking, please let me know who it is and I will get the information to him.

I will only track a car if you have asked your Sales manager or General manager to give you event codes and they WON"T. I don't do it myself, my Pontiac dealer does it. The list is limited. I can't bother him with 100 orders to check. The list is past 30 already. And I was only going to do 10 in the beginning.

So please any one who's reading this only ask if your General Manager or Sales Manager REFUSE to do it. Not because you haven't asked them or you want your codes 3 times a week.

I understand. You don't want to abuse it. It's nice your friend is willing to do it for you.
