Getting Your Saturn Sky Forum for discussing the process of ordering/tracking/buying your Saturn Sky. Ever wonder what a VOMS is? How about an "image", or how cars are allocated? The answer probably lies within.

A fool and his money...

I stopped by the dealership today to get an oil change. While I was there I asked if there were any 2008's on the lot. Yes there was. A red one. It was sold and waiting for the buyer to drive it off. It was a base model.

I then asked if there was a Red Line that I could check out. Yes there was. It belonged to the Salesman's daughter. It was white. He asked if I was interested in buying one. I said I'd be interested, but no way was I buying one today.

To make a long story short, I'm still sitting here waiting for my Sky to be washed with $1000 missing from my wallet. I ordered the 2008 Redline. Supposed to be here when I get back from work in October.

Sigh... The same thing happened when I took my SC2 in for an oil change. These oil changes are getting quite expensive!!

Anybody out there want to by a black 2007 Sky with 9500 miles? It's got the power doors, but not the power seats. Might be putting it up on E-bay this week to see what I can get. The dealer offered me $25k

That's not bad. That's pretty much what I got as a trade in for my 07 2.4 with just under 6K miles on it.

Oh, and this is definitely not a case of "a fool and his money."

A real fool would have bought an MX5/miata.

Current plan is to have it in mid-October or early November. The dealer is expecting to get an allocatioin next Tuesday and figures eight weeks from then (or so).

For the record, I pretty much got it loaded. The only thing I didn't get was the alloy wheels.

Must be a good story behind that picture!!

We got ours about the same way - went in to have the wagon serviced and came home in a new Redline. Congrats!
