Getting Your Saturn Sky Forum for discussing the process of ordering/tracking/buying your Saturn Sky. Ever wonder what a VOMS is? How about an "image", or how cars are allocated? The answer probably lies within.

Ignore Bill?????? MB, are you nuts?????? True, you happened to catch the brunt of this one, but there are so few totally twisted, deranged people left on this forum, his warped humor is what keeps me coming back. Besides, he just took time out of his day to teach me how to do his stuff, certainly not with his flair of course, but someone would have to step in to take his place. Rock on, Bill.

I would think that anything walking around with a New York Yankees hat on qualifies as an ass...

Ordered mine 5/28/06 She was finally built Friday 1/26/07 That's 8 months almost to the day. Granted, my local dealership is very small and a member of a group (Mile One). I was, however, #1 on their list. The whole GM allocation thing has been frustrating to many of us. I have heard of many a forum member who placed their order in September, October etc. who have already received their Sky. This thread was intended to cast some humor on the whole subject. After a little hijacking, and name calling, maybe we can get back to the purpose of the thread----a little humor.

Well, it depends....for those of us who ordered early on in the process, I'd say, yeah, that's pretty accurate. However, that's because a lot of those orders were in 3 or more months before production even started. So, I would say that by now, 5 months is probably more reasonable, but totally dependent on where you live in the country. Southern states will have a longer waiting time, likely because there are more people on the waiting lists.

My son asked me on Sunday when the RL would be here. I advised it "was retrained on Thursday." Later that day, we saw a black Sky in Deltona and my granddaughter told her friend "my Nana is getting one of those, but it had to go back in training". Maybe that explains the delays!!

I called my dealer today and was told 12 months. Better than the 24 I was told a couple months ago.
