Is This A Good Price?

I have located a new 08 Sky Redline for $26,819 with the employee pricing, $500 rebate and additonal $1000 area adjustment rebate. I have an additonal $722 in credit on my GM Card to apply bring the price to @ $26,100. It is Silver Pearl with black interior, spoiler, polished alum. wheels, anti-theft system, Onstar, and monsoon sound system. The car is located in another state and will cost me $200 to fly there. I've been looking for some time and this is the best price I have found. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a great price to me. With Saturn's no haggle policy, you'll have a tough time getting all those incentives tied together. Doesn't employee pricing end soon? I'd grab it.

I spoke with the sales rep and confirmed the price today. Tuesday is the last day so I have to make a decision quick. The wife is onboard but not quite 100%. She loved test driving one so I think she'll be 100% if we get it.

This dealer has more RLs. For some reason they added another $1000 off as a regional adjustment. I don't want anybody taking mine, so I'll hold off posting the dealer until I get mine wrapped up. If you are interested, let me know. They may give me an even better deal if I tell them I have buyers for their other cars

OK, I got mine wrapped up. The dealer is Saturn Salt Lake City. With my GM card I'm getting mine for $25K.

I flew down to Miami Florida playing this same game basically (hugely cheaper there) and drove the car all the way back up I-95. 1100 mile test drive.

As someone who just bought used because I couldnt anything off at ANY dealer beyond the usual discounts (which were substantial I have to admit) I would say you got a GREAT deal.

Pleased with my used deal though: 2007 Midnight Blue with black/tan seats, with 11k miles, all the options including monsoon, upgraded cd, wheels and spoiler for 21,500 FROM A DEALER.

Actually, a pretty pleasant buying experience... they forgot to tell me they closed at 3:00 on labor day.. so I was a little aggravated I had started out and had to turn around-- they said "well stop by anyway.. we'll wait" (it is an hour away). Got there and there was the GM, the finance manager and the sales manager all waiting for me!!

It was like when Madona walks into Harrods in London and they close down the store!! Acutally like the GM... kinda scares me to say that about a car dealer
