Goodbye Forest Green...

GM announced recently that the Forest Green SKY will be built out EARLY for 2009 and if you want to order one you need to do so on or BEFORE September 16th, after this date there will be NO MORE Forest Green SKYs available to order.

I think this is the only color I've never seen in person.

Too bad it's so gray out here in Seattle- the metallics would be a lot more interesting to me if they sparkled more than 60 days/year around here.

One of the TBR members has one and I looked at one, all they had at the time were automatics and I just wanted a manual. I'm sure sorry to see the color go.

My son will be disappointed. Thanks to his Legend of Zelda obsession, he always thinks I should get Forest Green.

It's close enough to "British Racing Green", that I'm afraid it would give me bad Triumph flash-backs.

I almost went withe this color over black, mainly because it's so close to British racing green. After seeing one in person I decided it looked too much like my mom's green accord, and after seeing a black Solstice I new black was the right choice for me.

That color with the tan top is awesome looking, was a consideration.. but we went with another discontinued color..

It's the Carbon Flash owners' fault. They should be taxed to pay for this travesty.

Does anybody have a sunburst yellow ribbon I can wear to show everyone how much I care?

Well, our dealership made another wonderful phone call and we are now on our third Sky. The Carbon Flash won me over and we traded in the 07 for an 08, zero interest.

I have become one of those folks that I never understood... trading in a perfectly good vehicle just 'cause.

Anyway, I have found that the Carbon Flash attracts men while the Silver Skys got the most comments from the ladies. Interesting demographic switch due to color.

Hi everyone. New to the forms, looked around all day and liked this one the best. Picked this thread as my intro cause I just traded my Caribbean Blue '03 Infiniti G35 Coupe for my new '08 Forest Green "with Tan Top and Leather" Sky RL. I am absolutely in love with this car. Good to meet you all.
