Getting Your Saturn Sky Forum for discussing the process of ordering/tracking/buying your Saturn Sky. Ever wonder what a VOMS is? How about an "image", or how cars are allocated? The answer probably lies within.

Got RedLine tonight at 0%

I'm the guy that posted a couple of weeks ago asking if I would fit in a Sky (I'm 6'1"). Well, I fit just fine and was holding out for a 2009 until this 72 hour 0% deal came along. Anytime I can use other people's money for free, it's a good thing.

Chili Pepper red RedLine, stick, with black leather & black top and all options. Add tax + license + extended warranty - down payment, then divide by 72. I like simple math.

No photo yet - we all know what it looks like

This forum has been great in educating me on the features and the quirks of the Sky. ( I knew to expect the fuel pump ticking - yeah the sales guy turned up the radio before starting the engine. He knew why. I said I'm here to test the car, not the radio).

I plan on checking in and participating. Thinking splash guards, custom windscreen and stubby antenna as must haves right away.

Congrats! Sounds like you got a good deal. The 0% for 72 months is hard to pass up. I got that on my Yukon a few years back.

Thanks - the ride is nice.

Brings back memories of my Triumph Spitfire when I was in college. Memories of driving topless that is - no comparison between the two cars!

Tomorrow I'll be recovering from too much sun on my face

Just got my 0% manual trans red Redline with Monsoon & 6 Disc today. Picking it up tomorrow. Thanks to this site, a lot of negative reviews I read turned out to be things I either didn't care about or things the reviewer was just bias about. Honestly if it wasn't for the people here I might not have bought one.

I got the teflon but not sure about splash guards. There is a thread that talks about how they help but it does kinda take away from the appearance. Also wondering if I really want to put a plate up front like cali law demands or if I want random tickets every now and then. My friend doesn't have a plate on the front of her merc. She gets ticketed maybe 4 or so times a year.

Lastly, congrats man. Hope you enjoy the experience... I know I will (once I get better with manual )

Good deal RedlineMon -

I'm on day 2 of my Sky Redline. I think some of the negatives that have been posted are perhaps a little over-stated. But I'm glad I was able to find and research this forum so there were no surprises.

I've owned sports cars before and the first thing folks have to accept is that they are not practical cars, and each model has a unique personality. But they are fun and we all know that's the primary reason we purchased the Sky!

Long time lurker (close to a year?) .... not many posts.

Picking up the White/RL this afternoon. The 0% sealed the deal. Giving up a lot of space and practicality from my Jeep GC Limited ..... but am going thru the "male sports car" thing ..... again. You only come around once. lol
