Help Dash-Mounting a Camcorder Please
Would like to dash mount a camcorder for the Idyllwild run this weekend but would like some suggestions to TEMPORARILY mount it, as in no "two-sided tape"
I would like something reletively stationary and the cheaper the better. Any help is greatly appreciated. another thing that I may want to do if other people are going to be dash mounting is set up a camcorder on my car "rear facing". Let me know. Endi

I have this
ChaseCam, Your Source for Video at Speed SM30 Fits perfectly on the small piece of plastic in the top-middle of sky dash. Its close to window tho... so only a small camera fits. But I am looking to move to window mount with extension I just took a shot... didnt even know how/where it would stick to... and got lucky that it all worked. I bought this one last year. Camera Mounts - Sticky Pod, Grippers, Suction Cups, Light & Mid Weight Camera Mounts In my case I have an older Sony TRV-340 digital film camera that is a little heavier than these much smaller & lighter camera used now days. Looks like the price has dropped a few bucks since my purchase..
 PS: BTW, shooting thru the cars front glass WILL give your film a "blueish" tinge, vs lets say, shooting above or outside the cars windshield... Thought I would share that little tidbit..
