Help Dash-Mounting a Camcorder Please

Would like to dash mount a camcorder for the Idyllwild run this weekend but would like some suggestions to TEMPORARILY mount it, as in no "two-sided tape"

I would like something reletively stationary and the cheaper the better. Any help is greatly appreciated.

another thing that I may want to do if other people are going to be dash mounting is set up a camcorder on my car "rear facing". Let me know.

Endi

try this it has a type of silly putty that will stick and pulls right off we used ours on the dells trip last year works great only down side is if it is really hot it takes a little bit to get the residue up. crudell bought 2 of them to mount a camera forword and backword.

I have this
ChaseCam, Your Source for Video at Speed
SM30

Fits perfectly on the small piece of plastic in the top-middle of sky dash. Its close to window tho... so only a small camera fits.
But I am looking to move to window mount with extension

I just took a shot... didnt even know how/where it would stick to...
and got lucky that it all worked.

I like what Kwayne has too... may actually try that!

Here is a vid I shot with it...

I bought this one last year. Camera Mounts - Sticky Pod, Grippers, Suction Cups, Light & Mid Weight Camera Mounts In my case I have an older Sony TRV-340 digital film camera that is a little heavier than these much smaller & lighter camera used now days. Looks like the price has dropped a few bucks since my purchase..

PS: BTW, shooting thru the cars front glass WILL give your film a "blueish" tinge, vs lets say, shooting above or outside the cars windshield... Thought I would share that little tidbit..
