Getting Your Saturn Sky Forum for discussing the process of ordering/tracking/buying your Saturn Sky. Ever wonder what a VOMS is? How about an "image", or how cars are allocated? The answer probably lies within.

How hard would it be to get..

..an Opel GT to my house here in socal?

If it wouldn't be too much of a hassle (and not that much more money) i'd love to have the saturn sky redline but with opel badges and what not instead!

Thanks

I think you can get the Opel badges from your dealership.... I seem to remember someone who bought them.. but not sure how they got them. SkyBaby

You need to start hanging with SoCal SKYs and we can get you all hooked up in terms of rebadging. My Red Line currently carries an Opel GT grill. Easy swap to make. Swapping out seats and doing body work and stuff is more complicated. It all depends on how far you want to go with your Opel GT impostor.

In terms of importing an Opel GT, you're probably talking twice the price of a Red Line, and months and months of delays and government inspections. And then, when it gets here, I bet you won't even be able to get warranty service on it.

Just get a SKY Red Line and tweak it to look how you want. Much easier.

A bunch of us SoCal SKY owners will be meeting for dinner tomorrow (Thursday) night. If you want to come join us, you can read all about our goings-on on the Pacific Thread. I hope you can make it out!

I believe it would even more than double the cost. More importantly it would possibly not even be street legal. Definately you would not be able to get warranty service.

I happen to know where you can get a Redline....
