Six weeks does sound far fetched, but you never know. Let's hope you're right that it will only be two or so more weeks!!

Unfortunately I'm one of the ones that's MIA I'm at the 5 weeks mark now...

I'm at 2 weeks past "released to ship" and still waiting. I was told 4 weeks for shipment, hope they were wrong and it shows up sooner because I'm going

My dealer is in Toledo which the RR seems to think is half a world away.

Jen, I am sorry your baby is "lost". However I can cheer you up a smidge. I am not a lover of the green color (I thought) but my dealership received one recently and they thought I would like to see the tan top on it. (I am struggling with tan interior tan top or all black so I can have the Black top. WOW - that green is a KNOCKOUT She will be worth the wait. MUCH better in person !!!!

Update on Sunni 1

Got email from my GM...
Quote:
"See attached-new up date on your car. Next it will show loaded-then unloaded at the yard. Once at the yard I will call them and they will get it to me shortly after. We are getting close to the end."

The update shows that it was bayed (stored) til 5/29/06. Then shipped 5/31!
It is getting near! I wonder who's SKYs are joining Sunni 1 in the Club car??
Oh and no GM discount -- but they are making no "up-charges" -- so there is a trade-off there.

Good to hear the news that your Sunni is almost home, Rick. Boy...you don't know how much I am wishing that mine is sitting on that train next to yours...but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Haven't heard a single peep out of my dealer since I harassed my VIN out of them. I just know they're not gonna tell me anymore info, so it's not even worth trying. All I can do is hope that my car is bonding with your Sunni right now. Because if it doesn't show up before June 15th, then I won't be able to pick it up until the end of the month when I get back from my 10-day bike trip.

I'm still interested in how my VIN ended up lower than Rick's. I'm sure the options/color affected the order they were produced as opposed to the order they were ordered in

You're right, it doesn't matter, just a curiosity. Now if it were 2999, that would matter

Last time I tried to get a hot car, I got #4096, so I did a little better this time.

Maybe the SKYs will share a ride to Lordstown, Ohio. I think that is where the paths they take will diverge. I wonder if the trucks to my dealer come out of Chattanooga or Birmingham?

If getting info out of my dealer wasn't like pulling teeth, I'd keep pestering them. Now is the time to just sit back and relax.

The Lordstown route sounds right. . . .
I'm wondering when someone will orgainize a SKY (maybe SKY/Solstice?)Homecoming and we all go to DE!! I went in 1994 to TN for my SC2 Homecoming -- It was fun!
