Getting Your Saturn Sky Forum for discussing the process of ordering/tracking/buying your Saturn Sky. Ever wonder what a VOMS is? How about an "image", or how cars are allocated? The answer probably lies within.

I think I got lucky!!!

Had a fellow forum member PM me about a RL in Portland, Oregon. I had to call the dealer immediately and when I did I had missed it. Same salesman called me today and had a white RL, loaded, manual if I wanted it now. I passed because I really want a yellow one. They don't take orders and do not have a list. I mentioned that whoever does the orders should place a order for a yellow one. The sales guy was going to check but did not have any hope for me. Got a call ten minutes later and he said they had a loaded, manual yellow RL due to go on the truck in a week, mine if I wanted to put down a deposit on the spot. I bit and faxed back the sales contract. I have asked for the order #, vin and event code. Have not heard back but I think I could have a car by the end of the month!!!!!

Have two others on order, maybe I will take the one in AZ and give up my place on the list in Medford. I imagine I will wait until I know for sure this is going to happen.

If it were not for the forum I would not know anything about getting a Red Line, I appreciate all the information and tips.

Got call back from Salesman gave me the order # and VIN. My snagged car is born and just needs to head to the West Coast over the Oregon Trail. Spring is looking up. But damn, I need to clean out my shop now to make room. Anyone want a good deal on blacksmith tools, fly tying equipment, camping equipment, old guns etc. Time to get rid of some old not used for 10 years stuff.

Congratulations!

Same thing we did, snagged a built, but not yet delivered. It was at the plant for 12 days before making the 2 hr trip to the dealer.

Good news!

Finally, Red Lines are reaching the "lesser" regions! Although I haven't followed through with the order (yet), I had similar help to "queue jump" from a forum member, too. Can't wait to see some pictures! It'll be just in time for spring.
