Just picked up our 2008 Redline!!!

My wife and I have been waiting for exactly 11 months. However the dealer was up front with us when we ordered last year about the wait. They even put on the sales ticket it would be a 2008 model. Got the call Saturday that it was in, and we went yesteray evening to pick it up. The dealer was excellent , showing us all about the features on the Sky and even showing us the different areas of the dealership. Stayed with us until we got the Onstar acivated. Now the fun begins!!!http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...y/DSC03945.jpg

Congrats. You and your wife must be pretty excited. What? Maybe 1000 miles this holiday week?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Question, Do you have your event codes? Do you know when your's was built. I'm wondering if our babies made part of the trip together. I am hoping to have mine by next week.

Just can't stay out of this car! First it's me and then my wife and then both of us. Then we wash it! Then back in the car to take a quick twisty drive!
"Is there something wrong with us?"

Looking forward to "Deals Gap" and getting our Dragon Sticker. Maybe two of them.

My wife and I live in Richmond, Kentucky and there are plenty of nice twisty roads nearby.

The 11 month wait was worth it!

Congratulations!! You will love the Sky. It was nice how the dealer covered the car for you. Sort of adds to the suspense of seeing the Sky for the first time. Our dealer wasn't that creative.

11 months... wow. And I thought my wait is terrible -- I ordered mine at the end of March and it's on schedule for the end of August. Maybe I'm impatient, but I bought a motorcycle to keep me from worrying about my SKY. I can't wait to tackle the dragon on my bike and in my car! Hopefully I don't end up like that chick in the Solstice... she flipped her Sol and it was pretty nasty.
