Just traded in my base 2007 for a Carbon Flash RL

I have been wanting to trade up to the Redline for a while now but just did not want to spend the extra mony but with 0% for 72 months or $3,000 rebate I decide to trade my Red/Tan /Tan base model in on a Carbon Flash Redline.

I have seen some of the comments regarding the Carbon Flash but once you see it it really is a nice combination. The black and titanium interior really goes well with all of the other silver in the inside and it blends in nicely with the gray around the windshield and the gray behind the rear seats.

The color is hard to discribe as it looks black in low light but with sunlight or inside the showroom you can really see the metallic in the paint.

I also wanted the turbo and I must say it make a big difference! The power seat is also an added bonus as my 2007 was an early production and did not have the power seat.

Those of you that are thinking of getting the Carbon Flash Special Edition I would go see one for yourself before they are all gone!

Congratz my man, enjoy your new wheels. I suppose it is still an 08? Hard to see and appreciate this color, even when sky spy posted it a few weeks ago, and your pictures also confirms that it looks to be a very dark color...almost black, or midniteblue, even in the day time.. Never the less, it looks good IMHO.. I have no problem with the stripe either, it's all personal tastes, either you like it or not...either way, I wouldn't kick her outa bed..

PS: Just out of curiousity, what did they give you for the 07 and how many miles did it have?? Oh, and when was your 07 built.. (mine was built in July 06)..

Congrats SKY RKT! Looks good and thanks for the pictures. I still can't get a feel for the color of the leather... white, silver, very light gray, cream, very light tan? Hard to tell with the sunlight reflecting off the light color. The Carbon Flash looks good in the sun.

The paint is just beautiful. Pictures do it no justice. You have to be right up to it to see just how awesome it looks.

Congrats!!!

Congrats! I saw one on a bright sunny day with the top down in Dartmouth, MA. They had lots of accy's on it; wind screen, saddle bags, all wether mats. It looked radiant in the sun! The paint was flawless and really did look "carbon flash" like. What i liked the most was the soft gray inserts in the seats. Very nice contrast to solid black.
You will love the turbo!!

I got one just like that except a 5 speed of course. I work for GM at Spring Hill. To bad we never made these. Now we are to build a Chevy Crossover. Gunslinger43

I was curious too. I was going to do the EXACT same thing (same car and all) but they were only going to give me $19k for the trade. That was an $8k hit for a car with about 2200 miles on it. I had to pass.

Yea, I was offered 19k also 2-3 months ago when I tried to "lets make a deal".. My Sky however had 19+ k miles on it. It was a similiar hit as far as lost funds, and would be upside down with the costs involved. Then looking at all the warts, basically the same problems only with the added headache of faulty brakes we passed. Wife & I decided to wait on the 09;s then eye ball them again... We'll probably go and look at the sky 09 again when they receive some at the dealer...
