Getting Your Saturn Sky Forum for discussing the process of ordering/tracking/buying your Saturn Sky. Ever wonder what a VOMS is? How about an "image", or how cars are allocated? The answer probably lies within.

My New SKY (TOY)

I finally pulled the trigger and bought my new SKY 11 days ago. I LOVE IT! But then, I knew I would. I first saw this car a couple of years ago and fell in love with it. I have been "Slobberin" over this car since. I had a Harley and loved the wind blowing over my bald head. Wife didn't care much for the bike. I made a deal with her. I would sell my bike and buy the SKY. She was on board immediately. One catch. I had no place to park a car out of the weather. Garage was full of tools and her car. So, I had to build a 30X24 shop (Poor Me!) to hold my tools and the SKY, prior to buying. What a deal! I got a new shop (wanted and needed) and my new SKY for giving up my Harley Davidson Road King. Even got to keep my Chevy Truck! I am BLESSED! I went to the dealer, not expecting to find what I wanted. I wanted a Redline and I know many of you paid deposits, ordered, and waited. I have been reading this forum for a while as many of you agonized as you waited. To my suprise, the dealer had the car I wanted setting on the lot loaded out! Of course I bought it! Already have surpassed the 500 mile break-in and I love the quickness of this car. Already warm enough here to go topless most days. I'm loving that wind over my bald head again!

Ha! I'm guessing it turned into a slightly more expensive toy with the shop! Was the wife on board with that?

Congratulations and happy driving!

To butcher Animal Farm remember it's now "Four wheels good two wheels bad."

P.S. Skip will be soo proud, there are pictures an' everythin'.

Congratulations on the Sky!!!

We also sold both our Harley's and then ordered the Sky. Figured we were getting too old for two wheels.

Yea, it added a few thousand but she was on board. I think she was willing to do what it took to get me off the bike.

Nice....but I heard that techno gray is faster because the rays of the sun soak into the black paint slowing it down....

Congrats on the new ride!

I better not let my wife see this thread... I got to keep both bikes and the Suburban. Plus the Sky gets the garage.... Guess I'm spoiled
