My Redline is here!!!
Back in October I won a one year lease on a Sky in a drawing at a central Ohio bank called....you guessed it.... Sky Bank.
Ordered a green Redline 5 speed with tan interior and tan top. I was told that I could probably expect delivery in April or so. Got a call tonight from the dealer during my drive home from work. By the way the drive home was horrible. Snow here in Columbus. Traffic snarled. My usual 22 minute drive took 3 hours! I never got the Saab out of first gear until I was about 2 miles from home! A very frustrating drive home. Except for that phone call! Someone here in Columbus declined their Redline. It is exactly the same car as I had ordered except it has a rear spoiler, a multiple disc changer and xm radio. None of those are deal breakers. The Sky lease I won was for a base model. Anything above that I have to pay outta wallet. I upped the ante and went for a Redline but held back on most of the add ons. But I can live with cd changer, spoiler and xm radio. They add about $750 to the car that I originally ordered. No bid deal! So it looks like I will be picking the car up on Saturday. Hoping the snow melts by then or it will end up sitting in the garage. ![]()
