Ordering question

I talked to my dealer over the last week about ordering they told me the color that was coming in first, im number one on the list, and said it was loaded with every option. I asked to please take a lot off xm, 6 disk, and spoiler as i would have to spend more money to have these unwanted items removed immediately. They said they would and it was done, now they are calling back saying the computer wont let them change it. Does anyone know of any way they can get these things pulled if the computer wont let them as i cannot afford the car with these extra options its right at my break point. They are a small remote dealer and dont seem to know a whole lot so any help or a direction to point them in would be great. It deffinately helps to know all the facts before i start talking getting angry. They have also told me they sold all the other allocations after mine and i dont ahve the option of taking those if i dont take this specific one i then i have to go to the end of the line. Thanks for your help.

looks like you are the 1st one on the list ... they probably can't change it today... my dealer told me this tuesday that it was my last day to change my order... it may be the same with you...
you can always tell them to talk to other dealers to see if they can exchange it once it arrives.

Are you saying you have to take it when it comes in, as is? I ordered mine with what I wanted, no more/no less, seems to be a lot of inconsistency between dealers, Do you this could be the downfall of the Saturn reputation?

well if you don't want to go to another dealer out side of town....

but when that survey comes in ! ouh! crash them....

tried calling other dealers with no luck. I had to go outside of town to even find this one and that was over 2 months ago. I will hear back from them tomorrow but its not looking good. Well i guess worse case scenario i can always sell my place to some spoiler rich person in the area, its really sad though i have been wanting this car for so long and it all comes down to a few stupid options and a dealer that doesnt have it together. I still dont get why i dont have my pick of the 5 allotments they are getting as i was number one. ohh well all i can do is hope. Stupid spoiler and radio crap lol.

That would be unacceptable, you should be able to get it the way you want it. Buying this type of vehicle is an investment, so every precautiion should be used in all business dealings. Business is business/Pleasure is SKY!!!!!

They can order them anyway they want to, and if they won't let you order off the image, after the demo is ordered, then that is !!++++. Talk to your General Manager, to heck with the sales people, he is the one who has the say in it!

Im getting the feeling this is probably the demo they are saying is mine, im going to call them today and ask if this is the case. If it is im going to try to demand the first actual ordered sky as its not fair for them to say that is being held for number person 2 on the list, after talking to you guys it sounds like the dealer is not hadling the situation appropriately. Thanks a lot for your help guys.

Good idea, and ask to speak to the General Manager, expect no less. This has to ba a local policy. Also if not satisfied, ask to speak to the owner. I don't know if it will help you, but if are paying 25K+ dolllars for a new vehicle, it should be new, also ordered to your specifications.

If all else fails, go to corporate and let them know of this dealers intentions, might help, after all we pay their salaries, without happy customers, what have they go?
