Getting Your Saturn Sky Forum for discussing the process of ordering/tracking/buying your Saturn Sky. Ever wonder what a VOMS is? How about an "image", or how cars are allocated? The answer probably lies within.

Redline Pricing

Does any one know the official pricing on the redline? I don't like that stitching on the seats(Sky) that looks like it would be a dirt magnet and tear point. Kappa post when official price comes out Thanks

No official pricing has been announced, too soon. Even GM doesn't know what they want to make the MSRP yet. To many factors to consider, and popularity is a factor in the MSRP too.

With dealers complaining about the reselling of the Sky cars by new owners and getting big profits. Expect the MSRP and invoice pricing margin to increase; giving dealers a better return on the sale.

They've just gotta be careful with the pricing, unless they were to allow options of a heated seat and powered top, they can't outprice the SELLING price of a s2000 (you can get one for under 32k), they'll get the price originally but about a year down the road start scaring people away.

It may outperform the S2000 but that 'Honda' nameplate can do alot, plus the fact it's already had all it's wrinkles ironed out. Hell just look at the ION redline sales vs the civic SI. The IRL blows the SI out of the water, but the SI will easily end up outselling the IRL. And yes the car's really nice looking, but if people are going for looks alone, they'll just get the standard Sky . They've gotta keep the SRL under 30 grand reasonably loaded.... imo
