Rumor Has It

Rumor has it that all west coast Dealer SKYs are finished and will be shipped tomorrow, 02/28/06. Anyone confirm this? I wish I could find that darned SHADOW, very elusive individual!

It is my theory that rail cars will be roliing, rolling, rolling. get them railcars rolling. People on west coast should find out where the depots are and start observing what is offloaded within the next few weeks. II know there is a hub in Kansas City where Saturns are dispersed to midwest and south, (Texas Okla,). All west bound railcars are Union Pacific, south bound freights via Burlington Northern.
I know of a big hub in Ft Worth where some of the Texas bound Saturns are delivered. MIght Have to take a Sunday drive here in a couple of weeks and try to prove my theory!! Waiting on dealer to call about my status, will advise. Tomorrow should definitely show some change.

This reminds me of my youth... The first car I bought was a 1968 ChevyII. It was in Rally Green. My dealer told me afterwards that he got into a bit of trouble as he was not supposed to order a car in RG until after the auto show here in Chicago. Well one day I was waiting at a crossing for a train to go by... Rail cars filled with Chevies.... And one - gleaming CII in Rally Green!!
That was a Sunday -- Tuesday got the call to come pick er up!!

Uplifting story, next time I hear a rumor about shipping to this area, I will drive over to the railyards where the depot is and do some reconnaissance, however I will already know it is on its way, from the dealer but the sheer adventure of it will be fun.

Where are you getting all these rumors you are starting? I have some very good sources and none of your rumors have ever been proven correct.

Oh, I don't know, just pop up in my head, it is interesting to get feed back, and as stated before, more for people to talk about, and to pass the time, and who knows, maybe my ideas are true? Who knows, but the SHADOW, and it ain't talking, or is he? Best thing to do is to sit back and see what develops, don't you agree, who knows I might even be right?

it was a joke, all rumors do is get people worked up and if they fall flat it gets people mad at Saturn NOT at the person that spread the rumor... unless I hear something from more than one source and they both seem reliable i will not pass it on...of course some people start rumors to cause trouble, and those definatly need to stop...

I dont think there is one piece of credible information on this forum. I hate coming home every night and reading all this crap, getting my hopes up that I will soon be driving my Sky only to have them shattered by my sales person, who BTW knows absolutely nothing and never calls me back. But here i sit, every single night. It's kinda like a train wreck, you just have to look. Oooo sorry west coast, bad choice of words.
