i was on saturnback .com and checking to see whats around. I stopped up at our Bel Air dealer to see the 09s which they had about 5 of them. One says its "ruby red" but its not it is chili red. what a bummer, but I did get to take a first hand look at the techno grey and carbon flash, but black onyx it is for me

The ruby red is the new red. It's gorgeous. You might want to check it out.

If you look at the Vue at Saturn.com you can see the Ruby Red color.

In my opinion, it's not as nice as the Chili Pepper, but to each his own.

some people dont want to have manual all the time, i'll be working in the city probably my whole life, and i hate city life, so i'll be driving long distances in traffic... dont want manual, might not be as fast but hey at least i dont have to shift, Plus i do alot when im driving, changing the sat radio/cd, etc, i dont need more distractions haha

just from an auto guys perspective

I agree 100%. In fact, I have a manual trans now and want to trade it in for a redline auto. I really don't care to be stuck in rush hour traffic in my car with a manual transmission. Way too much work if you ask me.

hey, while i don't share your desire for auto trannys, i can understand your point of view. i just think that there's something wrong when you can't find a manual trany in a sports car without ordering one.

and to be honest, i don't even think about operating the clutch in traffic. it's so second nature now that i do it without realizing it, in my eyes it isn't any more work than an auto would be. and i do drive home in bumper-to-bumper traffic.

then again, i use a hands-free system for the rare times when i use a cellphone when driving, and i've got an ipod which i always set before i leave the parking lot for music. i guess i'm just more interested in driving than playing with stuff in my car.

hence the switch from an economy car to a roadster.

i totally understand what you mean, honestly i'm ordering mine EVEN if they have one on the lot that is exactly what I want... just my feeling, i want the car to be brand new, especially since there wont be any onlot rebates i dont think....

but anyways, we'll have to meet up sometime, since in Feb I'll have a Black SKY too, we should get a local club together in MD, DC, VA, is there one?

I went to the dealer and saw the Carbon Fusion, I like the metal flake in the paint. They also had some stripes put on it in a silver looked really good, but I like my Midnight Blue
